HC has recently completed the manufacturing of a vertical desander pressure vessel for an oilfield project in Angola. The vessel has successfully reached a key milestone in the production process and is now moving into inspection and finishing stages, ensuring smooth progress toward final delivery.

The vertical desander pressure vessel is designed for oilfield surface processing systems, where it is used to remove sand and solid particles from produced fluids during early production and testing operations. By efficiently separating solids, the equipment helps protect downstream pipelines and process units, reducing erosion and extending equipment service life. For this Angola project, HC tailored the vessel design to match specific operating conditions, including pressure requirements, flow characteristics, and site installation constraints.

Throughout the fabrication process, HC strictly implemented quality control procedures in accordance with applicable standards. From raw material inspection and shell forming to welding and assembly, all critical steps were carefully controlled to ensure stable and reliable vessel quality. The vertical configuration allows for efficient solid separation while maintaining a compact footprint, making it suitable for integration into modular oilfield facilities. Nozzle arrangements, flanged connections, and manway locations were designed to support both operational performance and ease of maintenance.

According to the project schedule, the vessel will next undergo internal component installation, surface coating, and final inspection. Upon completion, the vertical desander pressure vessel will be delivered to the Angola oilfield site, providing dependable support for efficient and continuous oilfield production.
