HC Petroleum has recently completed the design and manufacturing of a Dual Pot Sand Filter for an oil and gas project in Oman.
Designed for reliable sand removal from produced fluids, this skid-mounted package features two parallel sand filter vessels, allowing one unit to remain in service while the other is available as a standby unit. This configuration helps maintain continuous operation and provides greater flexibility during sand collection and maintenance.
The Dual Pot Sand Filter was designed in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1, with a design pressure of up to 5 MPa and an operating pressure of 2 MPa. The package is designed to handle a maximum flow rate of approximately 7,000 BPD.

The dual-vessel arrangement is particularly suitable for oil and gas production applications where uninterrupted operation and efficient sand removal are important.

Instrumentation
