HC Petroleum has received a new order from a customer in Kuwait for a three-phase separator for an oil and gas project.

The ordered equipment is a 42″ × 15′ three-phase separator designed for high-pressure and sour service applications, with a design pressure of 1440 PSI and a design temperature range of -29°C to 121°C. The vessel will be manufactured in accordance with ASME requirements and supplied with a U Stamp, with a Class 600 pressure rating.

The separator is designed for oil, gas and water separation and will be supplied with integrated gas and oil metering arrangements. The package also includes the associated valves, instruments and pneumatic control system required for the project.

The vessel and process piping will be manufactured using materials specified for the project, with the equipment designed to meet the applicable sour service requirements.

As an engineered piece of oil and gas equipment, the final configuration will be manufactured according to the project-approved design documents and customer requirements.
