Recently, HC completed the delivery, installation, and commissioning of a sulfur removal unit for a natural gas processing facility in Thailand. The equipment is now in stable operation on site.
The desulfurization unit is designed to remove hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from the feed gas to meet local environmental standards and protect downstream equipment from corrosion. Due to the high sulfur content of the gas, the system was customized to match the required treatment capacity, material selection, and site layout.
Key Features of the Project:
High H₂S Removal Efficiency: Capable of reducing H₂S to levels well within regulatory limits, ensuring safe and environmentally responsible gas production.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction: Fabricated using high-grade materials suitable for sour gas service, extending the service life of the equipment.
Compact & Optimized Layout: The footprint and structural design were optimized to fit the client’s site, without compromising operational accessibility or maintenance convenience.
Reliable Performance: Designed for continuous operation under varying gas compositions and flow rates, with minimal downtime.
Since commissioning, the desulfurization unit has been operating smoothly, delivering consistent results and contributing to cleaner energy output. Feedback from the client confirms that the performance has exceeded expectations in both efficiency and stability.
This project reinforces HC’s capabilities in delivering bespoke solutions for challenging gas processing applications. With proven expertise in sulfur removal, dehydration, gas sweetening, and other upstream & midstream processes, we continue to serve the oil and gas industry with a focus on innovation, quality, and client satisfaction.
